Workday HCM Transition & Temporary HR/Payroll Freeze Dates
As Norfolk State University prepares to go live on Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) on July 1, 2026, certain HR and payroll-related transactions will be subject to temporary processing restrictions. These transaction freeze periods are necessary to support final data conversion and system readiness activities and will vary by transaction type.
The table here outlines what actions are impacted, expected timing, and steps required to ensure business continuity during this transition. We appreciate your partnership and advance planning as we complete this important milestone for the University.
